ADD VOICEMOD ON LINUX
Zac Secret
Everyone wants this, it is perfect, I paid so much for voicemod and now I can't use it because of an OS border, this is so stupid, I am going to have to cancel my subscription if linux support isn't added

If Voicemod wants to stay at the top then a Flatpak version for Linux should not only be a planned addition, but already in progress since Windows 10 support has officially run out and Windows 11 is proving to be a hot mess time and again. A large portion of Voicemod's customer base is doubtless considering the switch to Linux, especially given the possibility of Steam releasing their OS on desktop.
I myself have already made the switch to Linux out of sheer necessity and knew ahead of time that unfortunately Voicemod would not be an option once I did. The VM Key simply is not compatible with my headset, and I'm unwilling to not only spend money to downgrade, but also spend additional money for a device that is already reported to have issues.
Other voice changer developers are going to take notice of Voicemod's apathy toward the Linux community and take advantage of the chance to have a veritable monopoly on that market, Voicemod please step up your game.

I get that Linux doesn't have support yet but, coke do you think Voicemod should in the future work with at-least Proton/Wine? (Compatibility Layer for Linux that translates Windows API requests into something Linux understands)
I see full Linux support as a maybe depends on if Linux becomes a bigger market and is worth supporting to companies... But wondering in your opinion what do you think?

Lefvo I suppose that, even though it may cost more, a full version would be preferable to a virtualized one. Audio drivers are complicated to manage in virtualization, and I think they would cause more problems.
Hopefully, we will be able to get native support for Linux someday.

Hey, another deserting Windows user here. I have payed for the lifetime voicemod license, and once I left Windows because of it's unsupported lifespan + the AI Slop 11 alternative, I was very sad to realize that one of my favorite apps and the only good voice changer I know of was left on a dying operating system. I beg, from the bottom of my heart, please bring voicemod to linux. A world of people would thank you, and I bet every already existing linux user would gladly pay for a voicemod license if it meant they got to use it without giving up privacy, speed, security and customization for one good app. Please do it guys. You won't regret it <3

We don't wanna use a key that reportedly doesn't work, we want VM as a Flatpack.

I’m writing as an Arch Linux user, and I would love to see Voicemod available for Linux. Many of us in the Linux community would benefit from a high-quality, user-friendly voice changer like yours. Right now, Linux users have to rely on complicated workarounds with Wine or PulseAudio configurations, which don’t always work well.
Adding native support (or at least an official Linux version) would open up Voicemod to a huge community of streamers, gamers, and creators who currently don’t have an easy solution.
Thanks for considering,
– arch user
