So the deal is when I plug in my PS5 controller it recognises it's microphone as a new mic input this seems to override my discord and my voicemod mic settings despite it not becoming the default when plugged in!
My idea is sounds simple enough I dunno about on the programming side but I'd like if there was a lock button my Trust GXT 232 is the only mic i'll need now I have Voicemod just a bunch of tweaks and i've got a professional podcast studio sounding mic!
but the controller overrides voicemod making it my primary mic on voicemod when I plug it in making my voice since I have a level of noise suppression on non-existent i'd have to shout for people to hear me cause my mouth isn't against my controller!
Long story short as it says in the title can we get a locking mechanism so it can't be overridden by random inputs like controllers like grey it out so it will stay what I set it to!
even if I just adjust or move the wire or wiggle it seems to reassert the mic so it can do it randomly if I move my controller wire too much mid play which is hardly conducive for gameplay so this can happen multiple times in a short period if i'm moving a lot!
ignore the exclamation marks i'm not angry just a bad habit I picked up over the years!
