Anything inside of the brackets can only effect whats also inside of the brackets (Or before it) example, you have your "robot pitch, (pitch+reverb)" having the reverb itself effected by the pitch and nothing else, or "Reverb (Distortion+cartoony low+"low pass")", if it effects the one before itself or only inside the brackets would be pickable

And delay can choose the pitch it ends up delaying (maybe it delays your voice getting deeper and deeper or higher and higher)
