New Interface and Features Disappointin
Alex Smirnov
I have a perpetual Voicemod license which I purchased 5 years ago and had been using Voicemod since. I had mostly been using my custom made through Voicelab voice but decided to change and create a new voice recently. Wow, what a change for the worse in terms of functionality features and interface. Extremely user unfriendly:
-before used to be an easy, self explanatory interface to create your own voice through the Voicelab where you had equalizer, pitch, human effects, timbre, other. Which you could easily select, test, set, save. Now it is a rocket science interface with some crazy dials (we are using touch pads and a mouse to change and not fingers to turn the dials up and down), difficult to understand how to set pitch, timbre, effects. Tons of unknown buttons that start acting on their own producing horrible sounds that would not stop
-I was not able to even figure out how to create a new custom voice and closed the self bahaving Voicelab
-The libraries of voices all became very poor. Not realistic and not human sounding at all. Look like created with AI or copied from some cartoons or games. Huge disappointment versus the voice libraries that were offered before
-Echo and metallic echo and clarity and stability of sound became an issue. I am using noise suppression function. Helps somewhat but not fully
-Each Voicemod new update brings more issues with metallic, high pitch echo that starts interfering with your custom voice. The voice delays are getting more and more of an issue as well as the clarity and the human voice effect
-I am extremely disappointed with the new interface, features, user functions and complex navigation of Voicemod. The product is turning more into the direction of cheap, unrealistic voice imitation products that are plentiful on the market but no one is using
-Quality is suffering. I do not see the value add of the updates that only bring echo, distortions, voice delays but do not add to the voice quality, stability, natural fun beauty and fun high quality voice imitation
-Has anyone been able to create a new custom voice through the Voicelab considering how complex and user unfriendly it became. Extremely confusing.
Getting very disappointed. Something needs to be drastically changed. What has changed within the Voicemod Product Team and Programmers? Who comes up and "designs" those features, functionality, libraries of such poor quality? I want back the Voicemod product that used to be 3 years ago and not the confusing product mess.
Thank you,
Alex

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by “it has been somewhat difficult to navigate through all the effects.”
Could you think about what change you want exactly and even make some visual suggestions?
Otherwise, the request is too generic.
Thank you for your feedback in any case.
