Community AI Voice Changer

A lot of voice-changing software already has this feature and I think it's a must-have for Voicemod. Community AI Voice Changer would let us train the AI with voice samples or recordings to sound like specific voices, with support for all languages. It’d be great to have the option to choose the language before training.

This is a big one. It would be what ElevenLabs currently has basically so I can see this taking a while to properly implement. Would definitely be nice though and considering this is a paid service, I agree it should be added especially since the addition of AI voices, the groundwork is there.

I suggest like you can clone your voice and use it later

This would be a big one, but make users able to make AI voices! Example: If I want an AI voice from a game, I could put the work in, and add all the voicelines, or any part of them talking, and create AI voices! There's an app that already does this, so voicemod doing this would be amazing!

What to work on

The Ai needs to work on how it handles screams it doesnt seem to catch screaming and whispering very well i also think you should add a feature where we could feed information ourselves such as dialouges from certain people.

Aaron Chavez You will soon see improvements in shouting and whispering among the AI voices. As for the second part, I will merge your request with a similar one. Thanks for your feedback!

Let us make ai voices

Would this run into a legality issue in the future? This technology already exists elsewhere, but with Voicemod being a very accessible platform, allowing users to perfectly mimic voices of other people, (such as friends, family, etc...) may come with the issues of users using these AI voices as potential blackmail. Please be careful.

Thanks so much for your response btw coke, you going out of your way to answer this is really encouraging to see from the VM team!
That's really good to hear! Though with this being labeled as "in progress", i'm curious if this will still be rolled out of not.
There already have been cases of people using voice filters for scamming families/elderly over the phone for money, faking kidnappings, sexual assaults, etc... so adding more fuel to the fire would likely put Voicemod in a dangerous game. I really enjoy the progress Voicemod has had over the years and would hate to see you guys get involved with that to such a larger degree using AI replication.
Perhaps a safer alternative would be to give more editing control to the user, such as through the a clone of a pre-made voice (the ones that Voicemod creates, not the user) to edit in voice lab.
(Additionally if this doesn't roll out, users wouldn't have to feel paranoid of Voicemod devs secretly using my voice to train their ai model. Of course that's not the case, but companies have been known to push very far lately and many users just want to have a clean conscious when using products like this.)

koibles gaming I can't tell you much but I think you can rest assured about the implementation we are working on. And I can also tell you that we were already working on your suggestions. Thanks for your feedback!

Ai Community Voices

I feel like making a "trainable ai voice" or just a couple of audio files and turn them into a ai voice or something like that (i dunno how ai works that well) would open a lot of potential for voices and such.
