Auto Update

An auto update system would truly complete this app. I had to delete my old voicemod to get this new revamped one and even while choosing to keep the soundboards etc nothing saved.

Charles W V3 does not import your v2 content, but you could still continue using v2 if you had a backup or had not deleted all Voicemod content during the uninstall.
Download Voicemod v2 from here: https://account.voicemod.net/#/?action=download&forcev2=true
Otherwise, Voicemod v3 already has auto-updates and cloud content.

Jagger Taran This is now available in Voicemod v3.
If you are a Voicemod v2 user, you should know that we don't have any migration tool between versions yet.
Jagger Taran
coke Is it safe for me to download V3 without loosing my soundboards and stuff?
c
coke
Jagger Taran It's safe, but all your v2 content will not be migrated and we haven't implemented any help yet. So I would say stay on v2 for now if you have plenty of custom content.
Jagger Taran
coke Probably last question. Will Voicemod become safe for V2 users with a lot of content to migrate to V3 in the near future?

Jagger Taran It would be necessary to define what is meant by “safe” and “near future” for you. But what I can tell you is that I expect this* by, at the latest, Q1 of 2025.
*It is planned that when we finish developing drag&drop and multiupload in Voicemod v3 and update Voicemod v2 to a version that allows exporting all your sounds, we will communicate to all Voicemod v2 users how to migrate as easily as possible to Voicemod v3, what new features it has, what differences and what is not going to be migrated.

coke as long as my sounds get migrated, i'm fine

Jagger Taran They will be migrated, but it will not be a 100% automatic process.
Jagger Taran
