Feedback on V3, Bring back V2
complete
Quicksilver1034
First, the automatic update didn't work breaking voicemod and needing to update manually to V3 by reinstalling voicemod. Then the disappointment of 1. nothing being saved over from V2 such as: personalized soundboards, community sfx and voices, and purchases (luckily I used it completely free). 2. Downloaded mp3's and such no longer working with V3 and apparently now need to be run through some other website to be used which is tedious and will likely limit time on them (for example, I had some 30-50min personal uploaded song track mp3's that would now be probably forced to be cut down when they worked fine on V2). And 3. The layout, accessibility, and overall simplicity that was perfect on V2, have now gone to shit. As much as I hate to I am logging out of my account and uninstalling this now dogshit app until it is confirmed either everything, and I mean everything, is fixed or they fully bring back V2 and decide not to make any more horrible decisions such as this update.

Dear Voicemod v2 users,
As you experienced, a week ago we had a problem in the v2 service and Voicemod v2 started in a loop. Unfortunately, two days before we had made a change in our website to serve to all users trying to download Voicemod (usually new users) our future v3 version in which we are working and that as you have seen still does not have a migration tool for your content and is missing some features compared to v2.
This caused that many of you, in the absence of information from us, tried to solve the problem by going to our website, downloading and installing our latest version (v3), losing your content (some of you even your pr0 status) and/or missing some features. We are deeply sorry for this.
Fortunately, we are writing to share with you that the problem in v2 was corrected, but we had to develop a new version 2.51 to be able to use it again. You can find it at this link:
https://account.voicemod.net/#/?action=download&forcev2=true
If you did not uninstall Voicemod or you uninstalled Voicemod v2 and did not prompt it to delete your content, installing version 2.51 will recover everything automagically.
If you uninstalled Voicemod and in the process of uninstalling, you deleted your content and did not make any backups... unfortunately you will not be able to recover your content. We are deeply sorry again.
If you have any doubts about the above, if you can't install version 2.51 or if you are not able to start it, or if you want to share with us your discomfort about what happened or any other feedback, please let us know. Please, write us to our Support form:
https://voicemod.net/support
We will reply one by one to everyone.
Finally, if you want to keep v3 installed and keep testing it, you can continue to do so regardless of whether you want to continue using v2. After this message I will reply to all your comments in this request.

I have been using voicemod for a couple years now. This new version that was forced updated is the worst version of voicemod I've ever used. It consistently has me open my browser to log in even though I have the remember me option enabled, on top of this it constantly doesn't connect to my microphone, it recognizes it but doesn't get any audio input from it. The microphone works, I have to restart VM completely for it to correct itself. Please fix these issues I want to continue to use voicemod but at this point, until the issues are fixed I cant even talk to my friends without having to spend 10 minutes trying to get VM to work. Thank you guys, I love voicemod and want to see these changes as soon as possible.
edit, Also i don't hear a noise anymore when muting and unmuting my mic. This is annoying because I liked being able to hear if it really muted my mic without having to reopen voicemod from my background to see. You guys also deleted all our soundboards when we updated the new version. Fortunately, on the older version we could backup our soundboard, but you removed the option to import the backup files. Whats the point of removing it from the newer version? Now I have to add every sound again without the security of it being safe in the future. Bring back the option to import the backup files.

Why Is V3 so bad?
xaro
I just downloaded V3 and there are so many things that I hate. First of all theres no noise suppression slider like there was on V2, I play VR and with the V2 Noise supression I can easily block out a lot of things but on V3 all there iis, is noise gate which barely blocks anything and just makes me quieter. Also the voice changer sections are gone and its just a massive wall of AI slop. Also who wanted to put a voicechanger on a soundboard? That doesnt make sense, why have that and remove the voices button? Also, no V2 soundboard import which is lovely as a person with 2k plus sounds. The only good things about V3 is the clipping audio from game, some of the Ai is a little better and adding community voice/sounds and swapping between voices is way faster, which does NOT add up for how shit this actually is.

Thanks for your feedback, xaro, but it's not our Canny's idea to make general comments. We need the requests to be divided to be rated by our Community.
I've added you as a voter to the requests you've made so we'll let you know when they are developed.

Bring back V2 features to V3
Trixz2007
For whatever reason many features from VoiceMod 2 have been removed for VoiceMod 3
1.) Censor beep on elgato plugin no longer works for V3
2.) VoiceMod plugin tabs to switch voice chat On/Off does not work have to assign manual keybinds instead.
3.) Many Plugins features from streamdeck no longer work on V3
4.) Creators tab have been removed unless Im missing where it is
5.) System tray icon no longer has additional options when right clicking

Trixz2007 we are aware of the differences that v2 and v3 have and what this has caused in our Stream Deck plugin but we need to split the requests to address them one by one. Indeed, some have already been requested. Please look them up and support them and if you see there are none, make a request for each feature.
In any case, thanks for your feedback!

3 버전으로 넘어오며 소실된 음성들을 사용하고 싶습니다. 아니면 구 버전의 보이스 모드도 사용할 수 있게 패치 해주시면 감사할 것 같습니다
