Dear Voicemod Team, about the community voices being paid...
Lithi
What is happening with Voicemod now? Why is it that the platform that most people use to use sounds and use voices in other games now becoming heavily paid for? This doesn't sound as much as an issue but to a user who uses Voicemod a lot for free by the way, I can't even use the own voice I enjoyed the most because it was made via community. There were about little to zero issue with having community voices being free. You'd already had to have pro to even make a voice for people to use and now you're telling me I am FORCED to get pro now just to use a voice I enjoy? You're limiting our use of our own VOICE, the dedicated platform to use a voice changer isn't even a voice changing platform anymore. It's just another soundboard to use. And you're going out of your way just to make it to where free users have to be so restricted within the platform. Another issue is that some people use voice changers because the way their voice sounds like, if you're meant to be Voicemod then make it feel like Voicemod. This platform doesn't even feel the same as it used to be. I myself didn't even mind the fact that some features were pro only, because those features were to just make the experience better. Before we even had a paywall Voicemod had it's main purpose. Allowing people to get sounds and voices of our own to use in other experiences. Thus why community voices were made. It was made so people can make voices for other people to enjoy. But now you made it to where it's heavily guarded via subscription. A huge portion of your users are most likely free users and you're practically making it to where Voicemod is all pro. Community voices were literally the only way that free users could use voices that weren't made from Voicemod themselves. If you're going to restrict our ability to use any sort of voice via community then make all of the voices made by Voicemod free then. This isn't even a platform where people can enjoy creativity anymore, it's just now corporate slop. The issue is that some people live in situations to where they can't pay for subscription just so they can use some features that should be free to start with. You're taking a normal feature and you're just slapping a pro label onto it and calling it a day. What are you trying to accomplish? A platform full of paid users and free users get little to nothing? This isn't even Voicemod anymore, it's Soundmod. The platform used for having a custom voice is no more for free users. It's just another cheap and worthless soundboard. Might as well just slap a pro label on community made sounds right? And while you're at it, might as well make Voicemod PAID. After all, screw the free users of the platform.

Why you should give us free community selected voices!

Listen, You have probably heard this a million times from others, but ATLEAST bring back trying out community voices. Your daily selection of voices usually suck, I'd like SOME freedom other than uploading sounds and playing them.

Everything is locked behind a paywall man, I couldn't find a single voice made by the community that was free to use. I can't even do most things that your Youtube adds offers without paying a monthly subscription.

honestly companies have become very greedy so this will never happen.
