Im fully on board with Lee Fuller!
1 - The ability to set fade in/out times on Soundboards items.
2 - The ability to have the fade in/out be ignored after the first play of a "looped" sound. This way, if you start a "looped" soundboard item, it will fade in, but then continue to loop - like it should - without the fade in/out on the start and end of the item.
I use Voice mod for my DnD campaign and I assume many others do too. Having different background music and ambient sounds start or end abruptly takes some of the finesse away.
The only way to do this currently is to mark the sound you are about to play and manipulate the volume slider while starting or stopping it. But I use the phone app and the option isn't available there.

Jakob Brozén Thank you very much for your feedback.
The first iteration will not have the possibility to set different fade times.
As for the second option, I will comment it in case we still have time to include it.

sound fade away

I wish for the sounds to have a fade away stop to them instead of an instant stop, usually one can simply lower the volume of the sound manually but i wish it was a feature and not something to do everytime manually

Soundboard configurable fade-in/fade-out per sound

Should have an option to fade-in and/or fade out (with adjustable delay in seconds or in percentage of clip) when starting and/or stopping a soundboard sound.

Please make it so that there is a feature where audios can be linked such as one audio transitioning smoothly or abruptly into another

Fade in/out on Soundboard
Lee Fuller
I've seen some similar requests to this, but mine is a bit further along.
I would like to see two things:
1 - The ability to set fade in/out times on Soundboards items.
2 - The ability to have the fade in/out be ignored after the first play of a "looped" sound. This way, if you start a "looped" soundboard item, it will fade in, but then continue to loop - like it should - without the fade in/out on the start and end of the item.
This would be HUGELY helpful for podcasts, RPG servers, etc.

A cross-fade between background tracks would be great with a control for the length of cross-fade.

Maybe with this it would just be easier to use audacity to edit the file.

Same here, as I posted on Reddit:
There's a little playbar that stops, repeats, overlaps, and loops that says what happens to the audio if we click the sound effect button again, or let it play through.
One's missing!
Fade out on click! (Or end of sample)
It would work very well for the long samples, like audiences clapping, jeering, or fading out intro music, etc...
