Selecting a sound without playing it
Pierre-Alexandre Fontaine
So i've downloaded Voicemod v3 after using v2 for some time. When using my soundboards, i can't seem to select a sound, using right click, without having it playing. I would like to be able to play two sounds simultaneously and go back to either sound to change it's volume, without the sound stopping or restarting. It was a feature available with v2 which v3 does not seem to support.

Merged in a post:
I miss the old soundboard layout
yes no
I don't know if it is optional but the newest soundboard layout makes it hard to edit sounds without playing them first (Unless I'm missing something) and I'd like to inspect my sounds instead of them outright playing at same time. Adding the old UI as an alternative would be a fine solution to this, but that's just my thought.

Yeah for sure i agree and Yes we do have the "preview sound" but it still plays to me so right clicking a sound brings the sound settings without it playing the sound is an amazing idea
I Vote for this

Omar To vote for it, you have to click on the number to the left of the request. Although in this case, I will add you by hand.

coke Has this been implemented yet, I am transferring from v2 to v3 because all my soundboard files (30+) disappeared from v2 a couple weeks back.

Jakob Brozén Choosing either of those two options would allow you to select the sound without playing it through Voicemod's microphone.
Jakob Brozén
coke That does not let me edit these settings.

Jakob Brozén Do you mean Stop other sounds option?
It is only available in these Playback modes:
- Play & Stop
- Play & Restart
- Push to Loop
Jakob Brozén
coke It let's me adjust the volume and choose if it should be looping or not before playing it to people.

Jakob Brozén Could you send me a screenshot?

Jakob Brozén I am not sure what the problem is.
I see you have the options available just like me.
What doesn't it let you do?
Jakob Brozén
coke there is no way to access this panel without playing the sound. And in v2 I could access this by pressing the name of the sound so I could edit these settings before playing it live.

Jakob Brozén Yes, previewing the sound.
Even if you hear it, this will not be output through the Voicemod microphone.

coke That's silly, frankly. It's an extra click to do something that was very quick to do in V2. Right clicking should bring up the menu AND select the sound, just like it was previously. It's just better UI design that way.
