v2 UI in v3

This new layouts so confusing, I cant find this one old community voice that just mutes my microphone so i can do soundboard audio. I also can't find the volume adjusters for voices and sounds. I wish it was more like it was before with slight changes, Or like maybe a setting to have the old UI?

I despise the new UI
Mr Turquoise
I was used to the old one, I had all my sounds set and done, this update deleted all of my sounds off of my soundboard. Now not only do I have to click more buttons to do the same stuff that I used to, everything is overhauled for NO reason whatsoever.

Dislike new UI and new / removed features

Hi! I bought voicemod pro way back in the day, pre 2022. I've used it for years, and I absolutely loved V2 but as a long time user, v3 just feels like a complete downgrade in my opinion. the voice selection process is a bit complicated, although i do appreciate the option to have easily swapable voices. I have really no complaints about the soundboard, however I do believe that turning the censor bleep into its own voice only made it more difficult to use. Furthermore, I feel like the new AI-like art style feels less iconic from the classic, more simple style. I know of course I am not a creative director and ultimately I cannot make changes, but please do read my and other people's feedback.
Thank you for your time.

UI sucks + less features
HeatSeas Wave
the curent ui sucks its unoptimized for soundboard it lacks features that were REMOVED from v2 or v1 i forgot but the old layout had features like cencor wich is just a beep usefull tho then we got mute for me or just mute button that mutes me we also had a deafean feature i think i am not entiry sure also i dont like how voicemod is voicechanger focused when like 75% of users use voicemod only for soundboards mby voice changers as well from time to time but as i said many features from i belive v2 or v1 were removed the ui became less optimized and ive noticed its more laggy on low end devices, i brought the pro version when v2 or v1 was out and i loved it but now i am dissapointed (yes i know i can downgrade to v2/v1 but i like the cloud save for soundboards and being up to date)

What do you mean by "this update"?
I've been using VM since the old UI style as well, but unfortunately can not properly recall all of it.
The new style surely evoke strong opinions, but I'm unable to relate to your experience regarding navigation.
For me, VM directly shows my default soundboard after launch. So I can not really see how it requires more steps to use a soundboard than it did before.
How does it behave on your side?
What exactly are doing in VM, that is so cumbersome?

The new UI in v3.0 is atrocious
O
Overpowered
v2.0's UI was snappy and simple. V3.0 is extremely laggy, unresponsive, and hard to navigate; it is like a mobile app that's forced to be a desktop interface, and it's really, really, really laggy, even on a powerful computer with 32gb of RAM.

this ui

The new ui is terrible!!! half the pictures that came with the community sounds are missing after import, and instead of saved voices being in a seperate category you have them in a seperate soundboard. never thought id miss the old version of the pc controller on mobile but here i am.

Add Classic / Compact UI option (old card-style view)
iEfeBey
The new avatar-based UI (as shown in the attached screenshot),
especially for voices like The Narrator,
is distracting and harder to use.
The previous card-style interface, where each voice had a larger visual card,
was much clearer and easier to navigate.
Please add an option to switch back to a Classic or Compact view,
similar to the old UI shown in the image.
The old layout was cleaner, faster, and more practical,
especially for streaming and soundboard usage.

The v3 UI is NOT it
Melvin Yauwri
ok so i recently updated from the version to this one and the layout is just plain confusing, can we get an option to get the old layout as a theme option? mixing voice and soundboard into 1 thing also just adds another thing to click that just doesn't need to exist and can be a different tab instead.
