Voicemod Desktop Feedback [Windows/Mac]

At the moment, Voicemod always connects automatically to the microphone set as your default device. If that microphone is unavailable, it will connect to another available one. Unfortunately, this behavior cannot be changed. For a program that positions itself as a tool for voice modification — often used, among other things, _to preserve anonymity_ — this is extremely problematic behavior. I suggest adding an option to disable automatic microphone switching. This simple setting could save users a great deal of frustration — and in some cases, even their careers. Moreover, I believe this should be the default behavior: after installation, the selected microphone should remain fixed unless changed manually by the user. But even an option for this would be great. Thank you for the amazing software and all the effort you put into making it better!

The application is very fun and very functional, but it still lacks a noise suppressor that adjusts to the environment or even the voices, the current noise reducer is not very intuitive, reducing it from 0 to 100 does not create a middle ground than captures by completely canceling the voice or blocking it. And it doesn't work when the voice effect is turned off.

Why does Voicemod constantly check whether the default device is active? Other programs remember the settings for the default output device, but Voicemod seems to have problems with this. Would it be possible to remove this check or disable it in the settings so that Voicemod remembers the output device without constantly checking whether it is available?

Completely uninstall Voicemod and its drivers.

My microphone cable has a problem. And it likes to have problems every time And when I use my voicemod, my microphone disappeared because of the cable of the microphone, I had a problem when touched it. My problem is Anyone have a way to automatically connect voicemod? Because I have to press '' Open Audio Assistant '' throughout

I am a gamer and I like to organise stuff separately on my dual monitors so, I thought that the software should have the option to switch to each corresponding screen to pop up on.

It would be great to be able to stop one specific sound if more than one are playing simultaneously. Currently it appears you can only click the "Stop all sounds" button. This would be useful in a couple of cases: The second sound does not have "Stop other sounds" checked, but you didn't realize this before starting it. Currently you have to stop all sounds, then restart the second sound; a jarring experience for listeners. This enhancement would allow us simply stop the first sound. When previewing a second sound; then we could stop the preview from playing without interrupting the first sound. Currently we have to either stop all sounds, again jarring for the listeners, or we have to simply wait for the preview to finish. This would make it easier to manage multiple overlapping sounds, allow us to leave one sound playing while we browse around for another sound for example. Thanks for a great app!

As a voicemod user for many years now i have long wanted one feature on voicemod which is to add the option to select the default system devices as the input and output for voicemod. I often switch inputs and outputs for reasons such as when i play vr, i have programs that automatically switch the system input/output to my vr headset, but on the other hand if i want to use voicemod for any reason such as having fun i would need to manually go into voicemod and switch it which i can forget and sometimes i may even try to use a voice changer and nobody reacts because its just my normal voice or that i am talking and noone hears because the game input is set to voicemod. It would absolutely be a useful tool to be able to do this and it would save so much time and effort across voicemod.

Change the default mic below when you have a voice to be changeable. So for instance, I have one of the Morgan Freeman voices, and when I click his face at the bottom, instead of applying the default mic, it would instead change me to a voice enhancer or maybe even a different voice entirely

Add the ability to change the microphone sensitivity through voicemod. When you toggle the microphone exclusive mode voicemod resets the mic. sensitivity to zero and ignores the setting established on the Windows Configuration. With the ability to change it through the Voicemod itself it would be possible I think to have the exclusive mode active and also use a higher mic sensitivity. This is a very interesting option for people like me who have a very low microphone that needs at least +10dB sensitivity to have the voice heard and wants to reduce delay but not lose the voice detection.
