Voicemod Desktop Feedback [Windows/Mac]

Everyone wants this, it is perfect, I paid so much for voicemod and now I can't use it because of an OS border, this is so stupid, I am going to have to cancel my subscription if linux support isn't added

Dear Voicemod Team, I’d like to suggest an improvement regarding the software’s startup behavior. Currently, Voicemod forces an automatic update check upon every launch. For users in regions requiring VPN access (like myself), this often blocks the software from starting — either due to update check failures or extremely long delays. In most cases, the failed check prevents the software from launching entirely. I’ve followed your official troubleshooting steps (reinstalling, adjusting firewall settings, network configurations, etc.), but these haven’t reliably resolved the issue. Suggestion: Could you add an option to skip the forced update check during startup? For example: Implement an in-app update prompt (e.g., a dismissible pop-up) allowing users to manually check for updates when their network connection is stable. This change would significantly improve accessibility for users with unstable or restricted networks while maintaining update awareness. Thank you for considering this request!

We should have a way to combine sounds into one key with stuff like one sound playing after one finishes (it can be more than 2) so you don't have to waste all your key binds to make something cool (maybe a limit for like 5? who knows)

Definitely sounds like its saying something racist. I would never use it on my stream. Probably would get banned.

This gives voicemod users the ability to import.pth files and .index files to Voicemod and use them as Real time voices the free voice changer app called RVC V2 Can do it so I believe that voicemod would benefit from this feature since voicemod is much more well known than RVC and has a better UI the .pth files are the actual AI Voice Models and the .index files go along with the .pth it makes it so when you talk you have more of the original accent from the .pth voice your selecting for say if it's a Mr Krabs Voice model it would have more of his accent so long story short it's a super fun and useful feature that would be a great addition to Voicemod and I hope this gets added!

In settings we should have a button to reinstall and repair drivers.

I would love to be able to crossfade songs.

Hi Voicemod team, I really love using your app, but I sometimes get anxious that if Voicemod suddenly stops working or crashes, my real voice might be exposed without me realizing it. It would really help to have a small, persistent overlay or status indicator showing whether Voicemod is currently active or if the real mic input is being used. This would give peace of mind and help ensure privacy, especially when using voice changers during live chats or streams. Hope you can consider adding this feature in a future update! Hi all o7 I think that the possibility to add voice changer fx to an existing recording would be a nice feature. Example: you get an mp3 of Arnold Schwarzenegger saying the iconic "Get To The Choppa!" from The Predator movie, and you apply a "Banana" voice changer to it. So Arnold sounds like a minion. Maybe even applying couple of fx at once like "Banana" and "Cave" so it sounds like an Arnold Minion in a Cave. Have a nice day or evening, best wishes! TK2236

I like how much faster v3 is on everything, but local sound at least as a option is needed. 1 issue you could Easily solve for a lot of people by doing this, would be transferring their setup and sounds from v2 to v3. Also I'd like to be able to add custom sounds without needing to upload them everytime I do... Local sounds allow for my options, longer custom sounds, and easy editing. Atm if any other options with similar latency and features appears with local sound option, I'll probably be swapping even though I already paid for this.
